Impact Modifier
- PES 1027 has low-temperature flexibility due to its very low Tg of -30 ºC. The product is compatible with PET sheets and dissolves well in PET and creates small domains, which absorb impact energy.
- APET has poor flexibility below 0 0C applications and therefore brittle in deep freeze storage conditions.
- PES 1027 is used in APET and CPET sheets for deep freeze applications in the range of 5-15 %.
